We operate at the interface between business strategy and creative execution. Apart from anything, life’s more exciting there. But more importantly, creativity will have no impact if it doesn’t illuminate strategy, and strategy will fail if it isn’t understood and taken to heart by the people that execute it. So everything we conceive, write, design, craft and deliver is intended to build that bridge.

CHRIS DAVENPORT
DIRECTOR

Chris leads high profile branding and communications projects for some of the world’s biggest organisations across diverse categories and industries. He's particularly absorbed by the power of words as a means of conveying culture, identity and personality. The best brands tell compelling stories in a distinctive voice – this belief is a consistent thread in his award-winning work as a writer, strategist and creative director.

Before founding Aesalon, he spent ten years at Interbrand as a strategist, and then heading up their Verbal Identity practice. He has broad experience in advertising, marketing, PR, events and innovation. He has a Masters degree in Psychology and Philosophy from the University of Oxford.​
